Stray dog attacks Magistrate in Pathanamthitta; another person also bitten by dog

PATHANAMTHITTA: A magistrate was bitten by a stray dog near the magistrates' quarters in Vettipuram. The magistrate was going for a walk in the evening when the dog attacked him. A security guard at a gold shop in the city was also bitten by a dog.

The two injured persons have been admitted to Pathanamthitta District Hospital. Their health condition is satisfactory. At the same time, the High Court issued a decisive directive on the stray dog menace.
