KOTTAYAM: At a time when the news media is flooded with reports of the winner of the first prize of Onam bumper, the search for the second prize winner is still going on. Though, it is confirmed that the ticket that won Rs.5 crore prize money was sold in Pala, the mystery continues about the identity of the winner.

The ticket was sold by lottery agent Pappachan at Pala in Kottayam district at the Meenakshi lucky center. However, the agent is unsure to whom he had sold the winning lottery.

Meanwhile, there were rumours that a driver from Edappadi won the second prize but he has since denied it. It is usual to wait for many days to identify the real owner of prize winning lotteries.
