Woman found hanging in husband's home in Kollam; body discovered by husband who came from abroad

KOLLAM: A woman was found dead at her husband's house in Chadayamangalam, Kollam. The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi Pillai (24), a native of Pazhakulam, Adoor. It was Lakshmi's husband Kishore who found her hanging inside the bedroom.

Kishore reached home from Kuwait at 11 am today. Upon reaching home, he called his wife several times. However, there was no response. Following this, he entered the house and found that the bedroom was locked from the inside. He found her hanging inside the bedroom when he finally broke into the room.

Chadayamangalam police reached the spot and registered a case of unnatural death. The reason leading to suicide is not yet clear.
