Siddharth's death: Father's statement to Human Rights Commission

KALPETTA: T Jayaprakash, father of Siddharth, who died at Pookode Veterinary College, has testified before the National Human Rights Commission. Jayaprakash said that he gave the same statement to the Human Rights Commission that he gave to the CBI team. The sitting was held at Vythiri Police Station Training Center Hall. The National Human Rights Commission has taken suo motu case and is investigating Siddharth's death. Jayaprakash appeared before the commission at 11 am. The recording of the statement continued till 1:30 pm. The members of the National Human Rights Commission, who arrived in Vythiri three days ago, have camped in Vythiri and are conducting investigations. The CBI investigation is also in progress. The interrogation of the remanded accused will begin soon.

A scientific examination will be conducted today at the college hostel as part of the ongoing CBI investigation into Siddharth's death. The forensic team will reach the hostel and the inspection will begin at 11 am.
