KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has dismissed the demand of the workers seeking a stay on the implementation of the single duty in the KSRTC. The court asked the workers not to obstruct the reforms that were being introduced to make KSRTC profitable. Even though the court did not stay the duty revision, there are concerns that a strike called by a section of workers will put the KSRTC in a crisis. The strike was called by TDF.

Meanwhile, the High Court has expressed satisfaction with the action taken by the KSRTC in connection with the incident in which a number of KSRTC employees attacked a father and daughter at the Kattakkada depot.
