PATNA: Political strategist Prashant Kishor revealed that Bihar Chief Minister and JDU leader Nitish Kumar will form an alliance with BJP again. Kishor said this to the news agency during a padyatra in Bihar as part of his entry into active politics. Meanwhile JDU has denied this.
“Nitish Kumar is still continuing discussion with BJP. JDU MP and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Harivansh is mediating this," said Kishor. He claimed that shocking news are awaiting to those who were thinking that Nitish Kumar will form an active alliance against the BJP. Kishor also says that the JDU did not ask Harivansh to resign from the post of Rajya Sabha vice-chairman even after leaving the BJP alliance in Bihar, because the talks were still on. He added that Kumar will return to the BJP alliance whenever a favorable situation arises.
Harivansh has not responded to the allegations. But JDU spokesperson KC Tyagi has dismissed these allegations, saying that they are misleading and aimed at spreading confusion.
