KOCHI: Sons of Tamil Nadu native Padma, who was killed in Elanthoor, have written to the Chief Minister demanding the release of her body. The letter states that the government should immediately intervene to release the body and that they have been waiting for the body for 18 days.
This is the second time that Padma's family has written to the Chief Minister. 'I have been living in Kochi for eighteen days. I can't even go to work and have no money. No one is helping for accommodation or food. The government should immediately intervene to release the body as soon as possible.'- Padma's son Selvaraj told a private channel.
Padma, who was selling lottery tickets in Kochi, was killed on September 26. The accused buried the dead body in 56 pieces. It was taken out a few days ago. Therapist Bhagaval Singh, a native of Elanthoor, his wife Laila, and Mohammad Shafi, a native of Perumbavoor, are the accused in the case. The murder was done for 'economic prosperity'.
