Vande Bharat Express rams into cattle in fourth incident in two months

AHMEDABAD: In yet another incident, a Vande Bharat Express train hit a cattle in Gujarat. The accident happened at 6:30 pm on Thursday. The Gandhi Nagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Superfast Express hit cows between Udwada and Vapi stations in Gujarat.

The front panels of the train were damaged in the accident. Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway stated that these faults have been resolved. The Vande Bharat service started here two months ago. This is the fourth accident in two months.

The front panels of the train were damaged in the three previous accidents. The first accident was on October 6 when four buffaloes were hit near the Maninagar railway station. The next day a cow was also hit. Days later, a bull was also run over near Gujarat's Atul railway station.
