KARACHI: Pakistan's female political leader threatened a nuclear war with India. Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Shazia Marri threatened nuclear war in a press conference. India has reacted strongly to Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's bad remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shazia's threat was in the press conference convened in support of Bhutto.
India should not forget that Pakistan has an atom bomb. Our nuclear status is not to remain silent. Shazia threatened to use it if needed.
Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar had criticized Pakistan's action of encouraging terrorists in the United Nations and has described Pakistan as the epicenter of terrorism. Bilawal Bhutto was angered by this and made a remark against Modi. Osama bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat lives and he is the Prime Minister of India.
India reacted strongly against this. The External Affairs Ministry responded that Bhutto's was a culturally empty outburst and that these comments were the downfall of Pakistan. BJP workers protested near the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi against the statement. Zardari's effigy was burnt in other cities.
Congress leader and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bupesh Baghel also came forward to condemn Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's remarks. No one has the right to make such a statement about our Prime Minister. Although we believe in different ideologies, Modi is our Prime Minister. Baghel said that the Pakistan Minister should be given a befitting reply.
