WASHINGTON: Drama filled the chamber after a Republican member of Congress made public her nude photo amidst an ongoing debate in the US Congress. Republican member Nancy Mace showed the nerve to make public her private photos, blaming her ex-boyfriend for covertly filming it without her consent.
The incident occurred during a meeting of the U.S. Congressional Oversight Committee. Nancy Mace displayed the nude photo while advocating for legislation against the private recording of nudity and sexual intercourse during intimate moments.
Nancy said that the definition of freedom is to share bed with the people you prefer but to not misuse it through covert filming of the act.
She added, "I am speaking not only as a member of parliament but also as a survivor of such an incident."
Nancy's accusation was against her ex-boyfriend Patrick Bryant, who allegedly recorded the video without her knowledge at her private residence. "I was not aware that the footage was being recorded. It was not with my consent," she said.
Nancy had previously made allegations against Patrick Bryant, including rape and sexual assault, but he had denied it all.
