Light Metro to be executed in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode; aim to bring cities to the forefront

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister V D Satheesan said the light metro project will be implemented in the cities of Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram. This is with the aim of bringing these cities to the forefront in infrastructure development. He announced the project while presenting the budget in the assembly.

‘This government will implement the light metro projects that have been promised by previous governments from time to time but have not been implemented yet. Rs 20 crore is being allocated in the budget for the initial work of the project,' said V D Satheesan.
