Greeshma’s former lover reveals why he severed ties with her

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Greeshma, who was awarded death penalty for brutally murdering her lover Sharon, is in the prison. She was given maximum punishment describing the case as the rarest of rare. Greeshma killed Sharon by giving him a poisonous drink so that her arranged marriage with a soldier from Tamil Nadu happens.

Some of the things revealed by her ex-lover is going viral now. He said that when they were in a relationship, he felt that she would cheat him. So, severed ties with her.

‘I feel sad that such things can happen in our state. She did something that she should never have done. I lost my father when I was young. So, it is my duty to take care of my family. I met Greeshma at the temple and fell in love with her. She used to go for IAS coaching. I used to drop her in my bike. She lost her front tooth in a fall from my scooter.

I never had any kind of physical relationship with her as widely circulated. When we were dating, I had a feeling that she would cheat, so withdrew from the relationship. Greeshma's response at that time was that we could remain friends. I said I was not ready for that. Greeshma's uncle often called and threatened me.

Greeshma's female friends in college say that 'she is someone who is on a different level'. I thought she would become an IAS or IPS officer. Greeshma was caged and raised by her family. They never told her anything.

I knew about her engagement with a soldier. I still wanted the girl I loved to be fine. I felt very sad knowing about Sharon's condition. After loving Greeshma, now I am afraid to even look at the face of another girl, he said.
