ALAPPUZHA: District secretary R Nazar stepped forward criticizing U Prathibha, the LDF candidate in Kayamkulam. She is talking rubbish after her defeat, said Nazar. He also opined that the comrades had done their job properly in Kayamkulam. He was responding to U Pratibha, who criticized the party workers for her defeat in Kayamkulam.
‘Even when they came in the third place in the Lok Sabha, she was the MLA. She is responsible for that. It should be examined. Why did the community members who voted for the LDF earlier did not do so this time? Is it because of the hostility towards Pratibha? Or is it something else?

Prathibha said there was a leak of votes in Kayamkulam. Prathibha said the decline of votes in party centers and the sharp decline in the majority in areas like Pathiyoor and Chettikulangara panchayats were surprising. Prathibha criticized that the party did not show the same level of energetic campaigning as in previous elections.
