70-year-old woman dies in leopard attack in Malakkappara

THRISSUR: A 70-year-old woman was mauled to death by a leopard. The dead is Insaiyammal of Malakkappara. Her body was found in the lower area of the house where the elderly woman lived. The body was found completely eaten.

She was staying with her son near the Sholayar Dam in Malakkappara. The locals said that there is a wildlife menace in the area. It is believed that the elderly woman was attacked by the leopard when she went out last night. Her body has been shifted to the hospital in Valparai.
