GANDHINAGAR: Eight persons have been arrested in Gujarat for putting up anti-Modi posters. Posters with the slogan ‘Remove Modi, save India' were put up at various places in Ahmedabad. Many people were arrested by the police in Delhi for similar offence. Gujarat police arrested the accused on charges of damaging public property. According to the police, the arrested persons posted objectionable posters against the Prime Minister on public places.
The Aam Aadmi Party has launched a poster war against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. The police arrested six people in Delhi and have filed about 100 cases related to anti-Modi posters in various places. The demand in the poster was to remove Modi from the Prime Minister post. Action was also taken against the press that printed posters in Delhi. The contract was to print about one lakh posters. The Delhi police then arrested the press owners.
