KOLLAM: Colleagues of Sandeep, who stabbed a doctor to death in Kottarakkara taluk hospital, came forward with some crucial revelation. Sandeep is a teacher of Nedumpana UP School in Kollam.

The teachers said that Sandeep, who reaches school at 10 am had not caused any problems till he leaves at 4 pm. He behaves very well with all the children. However, his colleagues said that he was not very close with anyone.

Sandeep did not attend the staff meeting convened after the school closed. His colleagues said that he cited his mother’s illness for his absence. The management had suspended him after he got addicted to drugs.

Sandeep attacked the doctor when he was brought for a medical examination and to dress his wounds at Kottarakkara taluk hospital. He stabbed Vandana six times with the surgical scissors. Though she was rushed to a private hospital in the capital city, her life could not be saved.
