Not Rajamouli or Atlee, this south Indian director was paid 55 crores even without script

SS Rajamouli, Rohit Shetty and Prashant Neel are the directors who have scored huge hits at the Indian box office in recent times. These directors also seek the stardom that superstars get in movies. Now the news about a director is trending on social media.

The advance money that this director bought for his next film without even a script is what caught everyone's attention. According to reports, Nelson Dilip Kumar, the director of Rajinikanth's last release Jailer, has accepted an advance of Rs 55 crore for the second part of the film without even a script.

After Jailer became a hit, there were reports of a second part. Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan has tweeted this. If this is true, Nelson Dilip Kumar will become the highest-paid director in India with Jailer 2, he tweeted.

Currently, the highest-paid directors in India are SS Rajamouli and Rohit Shetty. At the same time, no official confirmation has come out regarding Nelson taking an advance of Rs 55 crore for Jailer 2.

Rajinikanth's Jailer, directed by Nelson, was a big hit at the box office. It is reported that the film has collected around 600 crores globally. Along with Rajinikanth, Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Jackie Shroff, Siva Rajkumar, Mohanlal and Tamannaah also appeared in the lead roles.

The film is produced by Sun Pictures. After the movie became a hit, Kalanidhi Maran gifted Rajinikanth, Nelson and Anirudh with luxury cars.
