LONDON: Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's cold stare at a fan who took a selfie during the Michelin Le Mans Cup race at Silverstone is now the topic of discussion. Ajith Kumar came under severe criticism after the video went viral on social media.
The video shows an enthusiastic fan rushing towards Ajith with a phone in hand to take a selfie. Ajith, who was in racing gear, suddenly stopped walking, placed his hands on his hips, and stared in disapproval at the fan. The footage also captures the star's bodyguard stepping in to move the fan away, while Ajith remained in the same position, continuing with his stare.
After the video went viral, the star faced severe criticism on social media regarding his behaviour. The comments section is flooded with remarks such as "You are nothing without your fans," "Don't show such arrogance towards the common people who make your films successful," and "It costs nothing to smile." Most comments opined that such an angry reaction was uncalled for, considering the fact that the fan approached him affectionately. Ajith has not yet responded to the incident.
“Good Bad Ugly” was the last film released featuring Ajith. His upcoming film is titled “Dare Devil”. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, “Dare Devil” marks the 64th film of Ajith's career. The movie is being produced by Ajith's wife, actress Shalini Ajith Kumar, under the banner of Brave Hearts Productions. Reports indicate that filming is set to begin towards the end of September.
