THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Organs of Suresh (37), a resident of Poonkulam, Vellayani, Thiruvananthapuram, who had brain death, were donated. Suresh journeyed to death giving a new life to seven people. The organ donation was done through the government's K Soto, which coordinates post-mortem organ donation.

Heart, kidneys, liver and eyes were donated. The heart was given to a patient at Kottayam Medical College, one kidney was given to a patient at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, another kidney was given to KIMS Hospital, eyes to Thiruvananthapuram Eye Hospital. The liver was partially donated between a Super Urgent patient at Amrita and a patient at KIMS.

Suresh, a construction worker, fell from the top of the building under construction on November 2 and was undergoing treatment for serious injuries. Suresh's brain death occurred at 10 am on the 5th. Suresh's relatives are the ones who volunteered for organ donation. Minister Veena George thanked the relatives who came forward for organ donation even in extreme grief. Minister Veena George requested the Chief Minister to speed up the organ transport process. Chief Minister asked for the preparation of a green channel due to the weather problem. With the help of the police, the heart was brought to the Kottayam Medical College at high speed by setting up a green channel. Wife: Ranju (temporary employee of Maranalloor Grama Panchayat).
