High Court asks Registration IG to look into plea seeking disqualification of SNDP Yogam office-bearers

kk

KOCHI: The High Court has directed the Registration IG to look into Prof MK Sanu's plea seeking disqualification of SNDP Yogam office bearers, including Vellappally Natesan. Justice Devan Ramachandran said that both sides should appear before the IG on the 4th of next month and that the IG should complete the proceedings within a month.

The office bearers of SNDP Yogam gave a detailed reply to the petition alleging a lapse in submitting the annual return and other matters. They also explained that there were no violations in any of the proceedings. The claim that no returns were filed from 2014 to 2017 is technically not correct. All annual returns were sent to the IG of Registration (Kerala) on time. However, as Yogam's original records were not received from the Registrar's office, the IG office informed that the returns submitted by Yogam can be accepted in the file only after receiving the original records. When the records came, the government avoided that delay. This is clear from the records. Until 2005, the returns and other documents were filed with the Registrar of Companies. The order issued by the central government in 2005 directed that returns should be filed with the IG of Registration. The returns from 2017 to 2022-23 have been filed.
