SSLC exam begins; Minister advises children to write exams without any tension

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The SSLC exams have started in the state. 4,27,105 lakh students are appearing for the exam in 2971 centers including Lakshadweep and Gulf. There are 2,811 candidates in THSLC category and 60 candidates in AHSLC category. There are 2955 examination centers in the state alone.


Nine students are appearing for the exam in Lakshadweep, seven in Gulf region, 630 in Gulf and 285 in Lakshadweep. The exam is from 9.30 am to 11.15 am. The exam for English, Mathematics and Social Science subjects is from 9.30 am to 12.15 pm. There will be a 15-minute cool off time. The exams will conclude on March 25th.


Education Minister V Sivankutty wished all the best to the students appearing for the exam. Read and understand the question paper by taking your time without any tension and write answers to easy questions first. If you have any doubts, ask the teacher. The minister also told the students to write the exam calmly without any tension.
