Slapped me, broke my thali, seized gold of 35 sovereigns, demanded lakhs, complaint against Kalamandalam Sathyabhama

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A dowry harassment case was filed against Kalamandalam Sathyabhama on the complaint of her daughter-in-law. The complaint filed at the Cantonment Station in 2022 mentioned that she was mentally and physically harassed for dowry.

After snatching her gold of 35 sovereigns, they demanded Rs 10 lakh again. She was mentally and physically harassed for dowry. In the case registered by the police, her son is the first accused and Sathyabhama is the second accused.

Sathyabhama’s son got married in November 2022. Her complaint said that her husband and mother-in law harassed her for dowry. They forced her to write the house and property in the name of her husband. Broke my thali and slapped me. She said that they threw her clothes out and then kicked her out of the house.
