Another Indian expat turns lucky in Middle East, wins Rs 8 crore

ABU DHABI: Another Indian expat has turned fortunate in Dubai Duty Free draw on Wednesday. Muhammad Jamal Ilmi, an Indian working in Dubai, won $1 million (more than Rs 8 crore) was won by the non-resident in the 453rd series draw of Dubai Duty Free Millennium draw.

Ilmi is the 226th Indian to win the award. Ilmi bought the 0121 number ticket while traveling to Madrid, Spain on February 27. Another winner of the Duty Free Millennium Millionaire 454-series draw was Mohammed Al Shehi from UAE. His 2637 number ticket won a prize of $1 million.

Meanwhile, the winner of the Duty Free Millennium Millenaire 452nd series draw was also an Indian. Sunil Nayyar, an Indian living in Abu Dhabi, received a prize of Rs 6.5 crores for ticket 0971.
