ALAPPUZHA: The RTO will file a report in the High Court on Saturday against YouTuber Sanju Techy, who violated the MVD rules to set up a mini pool inside his car, after getting inspired by the movie ‘Aavesham’. On Friday, the High Court directed the RTO to submit a detailed report on the case and expressed displeasure at the hitherto taken steps against the YouTuber and insisted on more serious punishment.

With the controversy brewing up on one side, Sanju posted a video on his YouTube page scoffing the RTO officials. The heedless move from the YouTuber also convinced the RTO officials to go ahead with serious punitive measures. In the latest video, Sanju thanked the officials for helping him get more subscribers and fame and took a jibe saying that he would not have achieved the feat even if it needed spending ten lakh rupees.

It was Alappuzha Enforcement RTO that took YouTuber Sanju Techy to task after the popular social media man and his friends prepared a swimming pool inside a car and took a drive across the city in the same vehicle. The registration of the vehicle was cancelled and the license of his friend who was driving the vehicle was suspended for one year. A division bench of the High Court voluntarily intervened when the YouTube video went viral.

As part of punitive steps, Sanju was asked to attend a motor vehicle department awareness class at Kuttippuram and perform social service at Alappuzha Medical College.
