Nizar Mamukkoya, the son of the late actor Mamukkoya, said that he will go even to the Supreme Court to ensure justice for his father.
"That woman is levelling false allegations. I haven't seen her in any films. It is said that she and her mother used to sell payasam in front of the Commissioner's office. However, the police have not seen them yet. If they have been selling payasam from that location for years, it's surprising that they didn't mention their ordeal even to the writer there," Nizar said.
"Section 354 is meant to protect and support respectable women from decent families. It's meant to help those who are genuinely troubled by eve-teasers, not for misusing it like this. This is all a setup to achieve her goals. Police want to hear what this woman has to say about my father. They are not bothered if she is lying or not," he said.
"My mother is a diabetes patient. Sometimes, she would put a lot of sugar in her tea and drink it without telling anyone. She says that she wants to die quickly so that she can go to father quickly. We all have grown-up children. Shouldn't they go out with their heads held high? Several good women are acting in cinema. Actors such as Jayaram, Biju Menon and Dileep got married to actresses. So, it's not right to say that everyone in the film industry is bad. I would pursue the woman who filed a complaint against my father. I will take the case to the Supreme Court. If the verdict is still against my father, I will apologize to her. However, if she is found to be the culprit, she will have to pay a huge amount as compensation," Nizar added.
