MUMBAI: BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. NCP leader Ajit Pawar and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde have taken oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. Governor CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath. This is the third time Fadnavis is become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national chief JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Chief Ministers Yogi Adityanath, Nitish Kumar, Chandra Babu Naidu, industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Anant Ambani, actors Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar attended the swearing-in ceremony.
The ceremony took place at Azad Maidan in Mumbai. Only the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers took oath today. The rest of the ministers in the cabinet will be decided later.
