'Political dimwits should be shown the door, unconditional support to Divya'

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty came out in support of Divya S Iyer IAS, who is now at the receiving end of a cyber-attack for singing paeans for newly appointed CPM Kannur district secretary KK Ragesh.

“Divya should take up the nerve to tell those who see everything with a political lens to go away. I am unconditionally offering my support to the IAS officer.” minister’s post was even shared by Divya.

Earlier today, Divya, in an Instagram post, jotted down that KKR's (KK Ragesh) protective shield is something that even Karna would be jealous of. She also posted a picture of Ragesh with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

“Having watched his professional career from close distance for the past three years, I have been able to imbibe many of his traits at work. He is a textbook of loyalty and an epitome of hard work." Divya wrote about KK Ragesh.

Senior Congress Leader K Muraleedharan implicitly criticised Divya for desperately crawling to CM Pinarayi Vijayan. Congress leader Sabarinathan, Divya’s husband, didn't jump to protect his wife, but rather critiqued her for posting something inappropriate, despite the intention being bereft of any political ideologies.
