THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Pinarayi Vijayan government is entering its tenth year across two terms. Pinarayi is now just behind E.K. Nayanar in terms of the longest-serving Chief Ministers of Kerala. Pinarayi has served as Chief Minister for 3,251 days, while Nayanar served for 4,009 days.
The fourth anniversary celebrations of the second Pinarayi government will be inaugurated tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Kasaragod by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The event will be held at the Kalikkadavu ground, with Minister K. Rajan presiding over the function. Chief Secretary Sarada Muraleedharan will deliver the welcome address.
Ministers Roshy Augustine, K. Krishnankutty, A.K. Saseendran, Ramachandran Kadannappally, and K.B. Ganesh Kumar; Opposition Leader V.D. Satheesan; MLA M. Rajagopalan; and MP Rajmohan Unnithan will speak at the event.
Other ministers, including V. Abdurahiman, G.R. Anil, K.N. Balagopal, Dr. R. Bindu, J. Chinchu Rani, M.B. Rajesh, P.A. Mohammed Riyas, O.R. Kelu, P. Rajeev, V. Sivankutty, V.N. Vasavan, Veena George, and Saji Cherian, along with MLAs E. Chandrasekharan, C.H. Kunjambu, N.A. Nellikkunnu, and A.K.M. Ashraf will also attend.
