Rogue gone wrong

Despite chances of a full-scale war becoming more probable in the coming days, the Pakistani government and army continue to unleash their most heinous and brutal form of aggression. ‘Operation Sindoor’ caught them unprepared and left Pakistan out in the cold-stunned. The precision attack decimated nine terrorist camps functioning in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The crisis should have ended there but alas, it is Pakistan. Despite being battered from all sides; they cherish being a rogue nation.

With Pakistan continuing to use all available weapons without assessing the consequences, it is to be seen whether India can maintain the same restraint and dignity it showed in 'Operation Sindoor'. The odds are no.

Pakistan, which attacked a school and a convent in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, used its most sinister tactic while being embroiled in this fierce battle with India. To get big leeway on Thursday night, Pakistan allowed a national airline from Dammam, Saudi Arabia to Lahore amidst raining missiles from India. It was a trap to blame India on the international stage if the missiles were to hit the domestic flight-carrying civilians. However, India showed restraint and desisted from any attack.

One should not have been surprised if Pakistan were to shoot down their flight carrying innocent civilians and put the blame on India. Their levels of atrocities know no end.

The Ministry of External Affairs has revealed that two students were killed in a drone attack on a school in the Poonch sector. Meanwhile, India has intercepted missiles fired by Pakistan at India using its powerful Russian-made S-400 Triumph air defence system.

India's bold and powerful advance is based on the use of state-of-the-art and deadly weapons against the redundant ones from Turkey and China.

Meanwhile, in the wake of the post-Pahalgam conflict, Pakistan's covert and nefarious efforts to foment religious strife and communal division in India continue to worry. Pakistan attacked Gurudwara in the Poonch sector and deviously tried to put blame on IAF to create a rift between the Sikh community and the Indian government.

On one side, India is carrying out controlled and subtle strikes, avoiding populated areas and places of worship in Pakistan. The same consideration is denied for India as Pakistan continue to target religious centres in both Punjab and Kashmir.

Balochistan is burning while Pakistan's prime minister has been reportedly shifted to an unknown 'safer' place. Pakistan’s attempts to foment internal strife in India have boomeranged in their own backyard. It should be seen if this rogue nation could make it out of the crisis unhurt.
