Kozhikode Medical College hands over body of woman to wrong family

KOZHIKODE: In yet another instance of negligence, the body of a deceased patient was handed over to the wrong family by the Kozhikode Medical College. According to sources, the body of Vadakara native woman was handed over to the family of Kozhikode native Sundaran. The incident came to light when the relatives of the woman reached the hospital to receive her body. By this time, the family of Sundar had cremated the body.

Earlier, a similar incident had taken place at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College hospital.
