cbse-

NEW DELHI: The criteria for evaluating the marks of CBSE Class XII exam is likely to be ready in two days. Indications are that the criteria will consider the marks of class X and class XI. Government sources hinted that the criteria would be submitted to the court soon.

It is recommended to give 30% weightage each to Class X and Class XI and the rest to Class XII internal marks. The criteria will be implemented with the approval of the court. CBSE is planning to complete the determination of marks and publish the results by July 15.

In a meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CBSE was directed to have an impeccable system for determining marks. The ten-member committee formed for this purpose has been holding detailed meetings for the last ten days. The stand of all schools was known through Sahodaya society. The stance of UGC and higher education institutions was sought. Finally, it was recommended to give weightage marks.
