MALAPPURAM: Former minister K T Jaleel came forward harshly criticising Muslim League leader P K Kunhalikutty. Kunhalikutty betrayed Hyderali Shihab Thangal and his family, alleged Jaleel. He said the account of Chandrika daily was being used to launder black money.

Jaleel said the notice of the enforcement directorate should have been served to Kunhalikutty and not to Thangal. Kunhalikutty, who had laundered crores of rupees, is sitting peacefully, he said.

The ED has sent notice again to the honourable Hyderali Shihab Thangal of Panakkad, who has a clean image and who remains uncorrupted. In fact, the ED should have sent the notice to Kunhalikutty who is responsible for it. Jaleel said that he requests ED to withdraw the notice against Thangal. He is being treated for his illness. He is not in a position to appear before any agency.

Jaleel said there is no doubt that Kunhalikutty, who is ready to deceive Thangal and his family, would sell the Muslim community and the League's political system for four pennies.
