ALAPPUZHA: Two more SDPI activists have been taken into custody in connection with the Renjith Sreenivasan murder case. They both are natives of Alappuzha Mannanchery. Both the accused were directly involved in the murder.
With this, the number of people taken into custody in connection with the murder case reached 14. Two persons were taken into custody on Monday morning. They have been identified as Saifudeen of Valiyamaram and Mohammad Badusha, a resident of Punnapra.
Renjith Sreenivasan was hacked to death by a 12-member team on December 19 early morning. A search was conducted in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for the accused.
Renjith was murdered in retaliation to the murder of SDPI leader Shan. Shan was killed on the night of December 18.
