Father, daughter run over by train in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: In a tragic incident, a man and his minor daughter were killed after they were run over by a train at Tanur. They have been identified as Aziz (42) of Thalakadathur and his daughter Ajwa Marva (10).

The two were run over by the Mangalore-Chennai Express while they were crossing the railway track last night. The incident happened in between Tanur-Tirur railway stations. Aziz died on the spot and his daughter in the hospital. The bodies of both are kept in the mortuary of Tirur district Hospital.
