NEW DELHI:The price of aviation turbine fuel records high across the country. As per indications, there will be an increase in flight ticket rates. The hike in crude oil prices amid the Russia-Ukraine war led to hike in fuel price. In Delhi, aviation fuel costs Rs 1,41,232.87 per kilolitre. In Kolkata it is Rs 1,46,322.23, in Mumbai it is Rs 1,40,092.74 and in Chennai it is Rs 1,46,215.85 per kilolitre.

Airline services in the country resumed at the end of March after a gap of two years. Although Covid restrictions have been relaxed at airports and flights, use of masks and sanitizers are mandatory. It is also suggested to remain three seats vacant on flights in case of emergencies.
