THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister V Sivankutty announced the results of the higher secondary and vocational higher secondary exams. The pass percentage this time is 83.87. It is less than last year. The pass percentage last year was 87.94.
3,61,091 candidates appeared for the exam. Of these, 3,02,865 have won. Kozhikode has the highest pass percentage of 87.79 and Wayanad the lowest pass percentage of 75.07. Seventy-eight schools achieved 100 percent pass. 28,480 students got A plus in all subjects. Last year 48,383 students got A plus in all subjects.
The minister congratulated all the passed students. He also said that those who could not qualify for higher studies could appear for the SAY exam starting from July 25. There are no grace marks this time also. The students can apply for revaluation from June 27.
