Music director arrested in fraud case, deceived candidates by claiming to have close ties with top officials

KOZHIKODE: A young music director, who faces probe in a fraud case, was arrested by the Payyoli police in Kozhikode. The arrested has been identified as Sarath Mohan of Vallayil Chalil house in Ettumanoor, Kottayam. A warrant was issued against him for failing to appear after being granted bail in a liquor smuggling case.

Currently, there is an ongoing investigation against him on the complaint that he had deceived candidates by promising them jobs to the post of assistant in the high court. He had defrauded the candidates and collected money by convincing them that he had close ties with the governor, top politicians and police officials. There are seven cases registered against him in various police stations.
