Bhagawal Singh went for massage treatment day after eating victims flesh, reached patient’s house with wife, victims flesh is considered prasadam, says Shafi

PATHANAMTHITTA: The day after the brutal murder of the second woman to please goddess in September 2022, Bhagawal Singh performed massage treatment. Bhagwal Singh along with his wife Laila and Shafi killed Padma on September 26. On September 27, the day after the brutal murder, Bhagwal Singh went to the patient's home in Malayalappuzha for massage treatment. His wife Laila also accompanied him. Shane Sadanandan, the native of Malayalapuzha subjected for treatment that day, said the two were cool and there was no change in their behaviour. Shane told a private channel that he was better after the treatment.

Bhagwal Singh treated Shane for nine days. He had informed to arrive on Monday, the day he was arrested. Tried to contact him on the phone but failed. Shane knew everything later. An amount of Rs 800 was given for the massage treatment.

Meantime, Bhagwal Singh, his wife Laila and self-proclaimed sorcerer Shafi, who brutally sacrificed two women to please goddess in Elanthoor, confessed before the police that they cooked and ate the body parts of the victims. Though Shafi advised to eat the victim's liver and some special organs raw, as it was impossible cooked and ate it. Bhagawal Singh and his wife Laila, the second and third accused told police that the first accused and the sorcerer, Muhammad Shafi, a native of Perumbavoor, cooked the flesh with only salt and turmeric powder. Shafi forced the couple to serve the victims flesh considered as prasadam to others also but they refused.

68-year-old Bhagawal Singh was asked to eat certain body parts as panacea to increase his physical strength. All three sat together and ate. Shafi enjoyed it very much. The flesh kept in the fridge was cooked and used many days.

Shafi revealed that it was his long time desire to eat the body parts of women, even though the human sacrifice was for wealth and prosperity. The other parts of the body were buried in a pit. Shafi gave the meat to Bhagwal Singh and Laila after performing pooja. It is informed that the liver and other things stored in the freezer were eaten later.
