Mukesh Ambani visits Badrinath-Kedarnath temples, donates Rs 5 crore

DEHRADUN: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani visited Badrinath and Kedarnath temples. Apart from visiting the temples and performing poojas, he donated five crore rupees to the temple committee for the development of both temples.

As per reports, this is Ambani's third visit to the temple this year. Mukesh Ambani also visited Guruvayur in September. Ambani was accompanied by his son Anand's bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant. Ambani's Guruvayur temple darshan pictures went viral on social media. Ambani donated one and a half crore rupees during his visit to Guruvayur. Guruvayoor Devaswom Board Chairman PK Vijayan had said that this is the largest amount donated by a devotee to the temple.

Ambani also visited Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh in September. He was accompanied by Reliance Retail Limited Director Manoj Modi. Rs 1.5 crores was donated to the temple committee here too.

Mukesh Ambani is the second-richest man in Asia and the eighth-richest man in the world. Ambani and his family's lavish life and business ventures are often in the news. Recently, footage of Akash Ambani and his wife Shloka Mehta arriving at friends Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's house for dinner in their father's Rs 4.10 crore Bentley Bentayga V8 went viral.
