Massive fire during puja at Bihar after gas cylinder explosion, over thirty injured, ten in critical condition

AURANGABAD: More than 30 people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Bihar, of which ten are in critical condition. The accident took place in the Shahganj area of ​​Aurangabad district around 2.30 am on Saturday.

The accident happened at Anil Goswami's house. A gas cylinder caught fire while the family members were making prasad for "Chhath Puja". Following this, gas cylinder exploded.


On getting the information, the police and fire brigade reached the spot and tried to douse the fire by pouring water on it. In the meantime, seven policemen also suffered burns. The injured were admitted to Sadar Hospital in Aurangabad. Anil Goswami told the media that gas explosion was the cause of the fire.
