Malayali couple found hanging in Palani; letter containing details of seven people who trapped them in non-bailable case found

CHENNAI: A Malayali couple who came to visit the Palani temple was found dead. The deceased have been identified as Ernakulam Palluruthy native Raghuraman and his wife Usha. They were found hanging dead in a hotel room on Tuesday evening. A suicide note has been found in the hotel room where the incident took place. It is reported that the suicide note has references against the CPM, BJP and Congress parties in Kerala.

It is stated in the note that the couple was trapped in a non-bailable case as part of the animosity of the party workers in the state and that they are committing suicide due to mental agony. The names of seven people are mentioned in the note. The bodies of Raghuraman and Usha have been shifted to the mortuary.
