40+ daily services: Airline brings good news for expats

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Air India Express has announced the resumption of flight services from various airports in the state to Gulf countries. The airline said it will restart services to Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. More than 40 flights will be operated daily, including services from Kerala.

Apart from four airports in Kerala, Air India Express has also resumed flights to Gulf destinations from Amritsar, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Tiruchirappalli, and Varanasi. The services have resumed from April 30.

Flights have been restarted to destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Al Ain, Muscat, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait. With the holiday season approaching, the new schedules are expected to benefit expatriates planning to travel with their families.
