ABU DHABI: Four Indians, including expatriate Malayalees, are lucky winners in the April Big Ticket weekend e-draw. Each won 25,000 dirhams (approximately Rs. 6,35,289). Ansil Nassar, Amrita Babu, Fathima Afida and Mangaluru native Veera Lobo are the lucky Indians taking away the big prize this weekend.

Ansil Nassar (33), a native of Kannur, works as an aircraft technician at Air Arabia. Ansil, who has been living in the UAE since 2022, used to buy tickets with friends. This time, luck favoured the ticket he bought alone.

Fatima Afida has been buying the big ticket for the past five years. The family could not believe the news of the big win. Fatima clarified that she has not yet decided what to do with the prize money.

Veera Lobo (50), a native of Mangalore, Karnataka, who has been living here for almost 25 years, received the big ticket as a gift on her birthday. Veera, who works as a receptionist in Dubai, bought the ticket on Easter Day.
