'Spat at female employee, tried snatching phone'; Serious allegation against Lamine Yamal's father

The Ballon d’Or ended with Harry Kane taking the coveted prize back to England, 25 years after Michael Owen won it for the country. However, an ugly scandal unfolded behind the scenes, and Mounir Nasraoui, father of football prodigy Lamine Yamal, was involved.

As per Spanish media, Nasraoui allegedly spat in the face of a female employee at Barcelona airport and even went to the brink of snatching away the camera from a vlogger at the event venue. Some reports cited that Nasraoui even went to the extent of throwing a chair at others inside the airport but was stopped after police intervened. Despite creating a ruckus, Nasraoui was allowed to board the flight to London.

Mounir Nasraoui is no stranger to controversy. When French player Dembele was awarded the Ballon d’Or in 2025, Nasraoui alleged a scandal and said something worse happened during the voting and termed Dembele's win a moral harm.

In 2023, Nasraoui engaged in a bitter altercation with residents in Rocafonda and suffered stab injuries.
