'ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പുരോഗതിക്ക് മണിപ്പൂർ സംഭാവന നൽകി'; ആശംസകൾ നേർന്ന് മോദി, പിന്നാലെ വിമർശനം
ന്യൂഡൽഹി: സംസ്ഥാന രൂപീകരണത്തിന്റെ വാർഷിക ദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന വടക്കുകിഴക്ക് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശംസകൾ അറിയിച്ച് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി. മണിപ്പൂരിന് പുറമെ മേഘാലയ, ത്രിപുര എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ ജനങ്ങൾക്കാണ് മോദി എക്സിലൂടെ ആശംസകൾ അറിയിച്ചത്.
'ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പുരോഗതിക്ക് മണിപ്പൂർ സംഭാവന നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സംസ്കാരത്തിലും പാരമ്പര്യത്തിലും ഞങ്ങൾ അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നു. മണിപ്പൂരിന്റെ തുടർച്ചയായ വികസനത്തിനായി ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു' - മോദി കുറിച്ചു.
എന്നാൽ മണിപ്പൂരിൽ മെയ്തികളും കുക്കികളും തമ്മിലുള്ള വംശീയ കലാപം തുടരുകയാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം കലാപം ആരംഭിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഇതുവരെ മണിപ്പൂർ സന്ദർശിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഇതിനെതിരെ വിമർശനം ഉയരുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് ആശംസകൾ നേർന്ന് മോദി രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. പിന്നാലെ പല കോണുകളിൽ നിന്ന് മോദിയുടെ ആശംസകൾക്ക് എതിരെ വിമർശനങ്ങൾ ഉയരുന്നുണ്ട്.
