Popular actress Aishwarya Devan ties the knot

Actress Aishwarya Devan is married. The actress is best known for her role as the female lead in the Prithviraj-starrer ‘Simhasanam’. Avinash Somashekharan is the groom. Aishwarya shared the news of the wedding on social media.

Aishwarya entered the film industry from a background in modelling. She made her debut with the Tamil film ‘Yuvan’ and the Telugu film ‘Keratam’. Subsequently, in 2012, she starred opposite Prithviraj in the film ‘Simhasanam’, directed by Shaji Kailas.

Aishwarya later played notable roles in several Malayalam films such as ‘Karmayodha’, ‘The Hit List’, ‘Thank You’, and ‘Sreenivasan Paranja Katha’. She also acted in the Tamil film ‘Anegan’ (starring Dhanush), the Kannada film ‘Jai Lalitha’, and the Hindi film ‘Kashi: In Search of Ganga’. In 2017, she won the title of Femina Miss India Maharashtra.
