The last few days saw rumours floating that the makers of Mohanlal’s upcoming ‘Athimanoharam’ have temporarily halted the shooting due to confusion in the script. With the news getting huge traction among cinephiles and supporters of the superstar, the director Tharun Moorthy himself took to social media to clarify the issue.

“For the past 78 days, we were shooting in Thodupuzha. Some online friends are spreading false news regarding our movie. Kindly don’t fall for that. Yes, the rain and inclement weather have affected our plan, but we are trying hard to overcome every challenge and continue filming with great positivity.

Thank you for the understanding and support,” wrote Tharun on Instagram.

This is Tharun’s second time collaborating with Mohanlal after the super hit ‘Thudarum’. Athimanoharam comes with an ensemble cast with Mohanlal playing a wastrel cop, Lovelajjan. The film will see Mohanlal-Meera Jasmine's iconic pair returning to the silver screen after more than a decade.
