'She served jail term, never knew it'; Actor Srikanth and Vandana's tangled marriage

Actor Srikanth is now caught in a muddle after officials took him into custody over a drug case. In the investigation, it was found that the actor bought one gram of cocaine for Rs 12,000. With news gleaming over the actor's role in the drug possession case, his mishmash wedding in 2007 is also slowly gaining back attention.

Srikanth married Vandana back in 2007, much to the chagrin of his family members. The family initially approved of the relationship but backed out later after knowing about the legal tangle Vandana’s parents were embroiled in. It was reported that Vandana’s parents faced arrest over a land dispute case.

Much to the shock of everyone, Srikanth covertly registered his marriage with Vandana. Drama ensued soon as Srikanth denied acknowledging his marriage after getting to know that Vandana too was jailed along with her parents over the land dispute case.

In another interview, Srikanth said that Vandana, one day, showed up in front of his house with goons. Srikanth said he was forced to abandon his house with his parents. After several months of mudslinging and allegations, both of them patched up their differences through counselling sessions.

As of now, Srikanth is still married to Vandana, and the couple have two children.
