CHENNAI: The wedding date of music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran, owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Sunrisers Hyderabad, has been revealed. Reports say the two will have a destination wedding in Greece.
The wedding will be on November 10, 2026, two days post Diwali, and it would be a private function attended by close relatives and friends. However, further details, including the exact location of the wedding in Greece, have not yet been disclosed.
Anirudh’s maternal uncle and actor Y Gee Mahendran had earlier revealed that Anirudh and Kavya are planning to get married.
Mahendran said the two could work together in the music business. Anirudh is one of the most sought-after music composers in South Indian cinema, with several major projects in his lineup. Kavya, meanwhile, continues to be closely associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad and its IPL operations.
Rumours about Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran getting married had surfaced earlier as well. They are reportedly believed to have been in a relationship since 2024. Kavya Maran is the daughter of Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and is a familiar presence during Sunrisers Hyderabad’s IPL matches.
Anirudh, who has established himself as a successful music composer and singer in both South Indian cinema and Bollywood, reportedly commands crores as remuneration for his films. He made his Tamil debut as a composer with Dhanush’s 3. His music for films including Jailer, Master, Vikram, Jawan, Leo and Devara has produced several chart-topping hits.
