Attack on ED officials: Six more accused granted bail

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Thursday granted bail to six more accused, including CPM leader I.P. Binu, in the case related to the alleged attack on Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials during a raid at Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan's residence. Binu is the 16th accused in the case.

Justice Kauser Edappagath granted bail to the other accused- Dinakar, R. Unnikrishnan, D.S. Unni, Dinesh B. Nair and Revanth. With this, 23 of the 25 accused in the case have now secured bail.

As part of the bail conditions, each accused must execute a bond of Rs 1 lakh with two sureties for the like amount. They have also been directed to deposit Rs 10,000 before the court. Senior advocate K. Gopalakrishna Kurup appeared for the accused.
